Enhance your CMS Meeting Experience!
Sunday June 4 | 19:00 - 22:30 | Lago at Dows Lake
Email: studc@cms.math.ca
The Canadian Mathematical Society invites you to an awards banquet to highlight exceptional performance in the area of mathematical research and education. Prizes will be awarded during the event.

Join us at the historical Dows Lake Pavilion. Originally a boathouse in 1931 and used for over 50 years, it was a two storey building with accommodation for 200 skiffs and canoes, 10 to 20 outboard motor boats and 7 small cruisers in covered slips. It was torn down in 1979 to make way for the Dow's Lake Pavilion where many can remember changing their skates on cement floors. This is now Lago at Dows Lake, where the CMS banquet will be held.
Banquet tickets can be purchased separately upon registration for the CMS Meeting.
CMS Book Swap
Friday June 2 -5
The Canadian Mathematical Society is hosting its first-ever Book Swap! Do you have stacks of books beside your desk, or books bursting from your shelf? If so, take a book that no longer brings you joy and bring it to the CMS meeting! Bring up to THREE newer books in good condition and exchange it at registration for a ticket. That ticket will allow you to pick out another book that someone else has brought. See a great book? Make a cash donation and keep math libraries alive!

Alternatively, bring money if you are looking for new (to you) books. See a great book? Make a cash donation to the Canadian Mathematical Society and keep math libraries alive! All proceeds will go to CMS programs.

Support the circular economy by swapping! This helps save money, update your book collection, and share with a community of like-minded mathematicians.
CMS Women in Math Mentoring Lunch
Saturday, June 3 | 12:00 - 13:30
Pre-registration by May 22 required to participate
Join us for a Speed Mentoring lunch, where you will have the opportunity to connect with others at various stages of their careers, to discuss issues affecting women in math. Participants will be seated in small groups, and will rotate table to table at various points during the lunch, so that they will be able to meet and converse candidly with a variety of individuals. This lunch is free for those registered to attend the CMS Summer Meeting, but an additional registration is required. Since space is limited, we ask that you only register if you plan to attend, and that you cancel your registration if your plans change. We look forward to connecting with many of you at the CMS Women in Math Mentorship Lunch!
Limited Spots Available!
Friday June 2
The CMS Professional Development Series is a small number of workshops held at each meeting (whenever possible) to offer CMS Members and meeting attendees the opportunity to broaden their career perspectives, and help develop competencies in communication, self-awareness, professional adaptability, leadership, and professionalism. Each attendee will receive a CMS Professional Development Series certificate of completion after each workshop. Each workshop includes a snack break with the rate.
