The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) mourns the passing of Dr. Robert Woodrow. He was deeply engaged in every facet of the academic community throughout both his career and retirement. Dr. Woodrow was involved with the CMS for over 45 years, serving in many capacities. He was a pillar whose dedication, insight, and kindness left an enduring and profound impact on all of us.
To honor Robert and celebrate his remarkable life, we invite friends and those that knew Robert to a wine and cheese reception, a fitting tribute given his great appreciation for fine wine. It will be a time for us to gather, share memories, and reflect on the profound impact he had on the Canadian mathematical community and beyond. We will have a slideshow of photos, and for those who wish, there will be an opportunity to speak and share a favorite story or remembrance. Please join us in celebrating a life so beautifully lived and a legacy that will not be forgotten.
